Reveal the Magic
of Hypnosis

You’ve Been Hypnotized Before…

And you didn’t even realize. Now, let’s acknowledge it knowingly.

What’s waiting for you? Rapid, substantial change

What is hypnosis?

Have you ever been so captivated by a film that you felt part of the story, even knowing it was just fiction? Or so absorbed in your phone that you didn’t hear someone trying to talk to you? That’s your mind slipping into a natural trance—another term for a hypnotic state.

Hypnosis is a natural state your mind enters daily. It’s not magic; though it might feel like it, it’s a powerful method for reshaping your thoughts and habits by tapping into your subconscious, which governs much of your behaviour.

Hypnosis feels so natural that you might not even realise you’re in it.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind, also referred to as the unconscious mind, is akin to a computer’s hard drive. It stores all your memories and experiences while also recognising patterns-behaviours you exhibit repeatedly-and executes them automatically, much like running on autopilot. It does not judge what is good or bad; it merely stores and replicates.

Your subconscious shapes your self-perception-encompassing your habits, beliefs, and actions. It becomes intertwined with your identity, leading you to assert, “That’s just who I am.”

By the age of 35, research indicates that we operate approximately 95% of our lives on autopilot, repeating thoughts and actions without awareness. One of the most effective ways to gain access to that 95% part of ourselves in order to create change is through hypnosis.

What is the conscious mind?

The conscious mind is the part you’re aware of-your inner voice that guides your thoughts, plans, and decisions. It's what helps you navigate new encounters and unfamiliar situations.

However, once it collects information, it relies on the subconscious mind for guidance. The subconscious ensures that your actions align with your ingrained patterns and identity, which means the conscious mind ultimately follows the lead of the subconscious.

This is why breaking a habit using sheer willpower or discipline can be so challenging. The real issue lies in the subconscious programming that often leaves you feeling trapped and uncertain about how to effect change.

Can anyone be hypnotized?

Absolutely! Anyone receptive to hypnosis can experience its benefits.

With a trained professional, the approach is personalised to suit your needs.

Clients frequently describe it as easy, relaxing, and a valuable tool they can continue to utilise for ongoing success long after the sessions have concluded.

Will I be asleep?

Films and television often portray hypnosis as some kind of mystical magic trick, suggesting you might experience amnesia or lose control.

However, the process we engage in is actually a state of calm, focused awareness.

You won’t be asleep. You won’t wake up wondering what just happened to you.

In fact, you’ll hear everything I say and might even notice sounds around you. At times, you might drift off into a daydream, which is completely normal. If I ask you a question, you’ll be able to answer it effortlessly.

In other words, you’ll remain alert and in control the entire time, and you’ll be able to open your eyes easily at the end of our session.

Many of my clients describe it as feeling like they've taken a refreshing, energising nap, leaving them in a state of calm and relaxation for the rest of the day.

What does it feel like?

Each person's experience of hypnosis is unique, and that’s the beauty of it. At the end of your session, I’ll ask how it felt, as there’s no single answer.

Some clients describe a sensation of floating or feeling enveloped in warmth, while others simply feel deeply relaxed and aware. Many express surprise at how normal it seems, contrary to the dramatic portrayals in films.

Importantly, what happens during the session is just the beginning—what truly matters is the positive shifts that occur afterward. With continued sessions, you’ll find it easier to reach deeper states and build on your previous progress.

Will I lose control?

No, you will not lose control. Hypnosis is a state of mind that occurs only with your consent. You’ll be fully aware of what I’m saying and cannot be compelled to act against your values or share any secrets.

Some individuals fear that their strong will might prevent them from being hypnotised, but in reality, having good focus and concentration allows for an easier transition into hypnosis.

I have a friend who tried hypnosis and says it didn't work. Why?

Success with hypnosis typically hinges on two main factors: your readiness and willingness to change, as well as finding the right hypnotist for you.

If you’re attending sessions solely to meet someone else’s expectations, like a spouse urging you to quit smoking, your motivation to engage with the process may be lacking. How receptive will you be to the suggestions if you’re not doing it for yourself?

True change comes when you genuinely want it for your own sake. Without that intrinsic motivation, your mind might resist new ideas, and you’ll likely find excuses to cling to old habits simply because you aren’t ready to let go.

That’s why it’s essential for me to tailor the hypnosis process to align with your specific goals and desires, ensuring you’re set up for success.

Are you a hypnotist or a hypnotherapist?

The terms "hypnotist" and "hypnotherapist" essentially refer to the same role, and neither is superior to the other.

I prefer the title "hypnotist" because it resonates with me personally and is more commonly searched for online. Many clients come to me after traditional therapies haven’t worked, often looking for a "hypnotist" rather than a "hypnotherapist."

That said, if you'd rather refer to me as your hypnotherapist, that’s perfectly fine! The core objective remains the same: to assist you in making meaningful changes in your life without the emotional struggle.

While hypnosis isn’t government-licensed in the U.S., U.K., Canada, or Australia, it is regulated by professional training organisations. It's worth noting that the term “therapy” is legally protected in some regions, which is why these distinctions exist.

I am not a medical doctor, nor do I offer medical treatment or clinical advice. However, I am registered with the General Hypnosis Register and hold certification from the International Certification Board of Coaches and Hypnotists. I also emphasise continuous training each year to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the field.

How long does it take?

Hypnosis isn't magic, but it can lead to rapid change. Most clients opt for a package of sessions to make the most of their time and achieve lasting results.

This flexible approach allows us to create a personalised session plan, provide ongoing support, and equip you with tools to strengthen your progress. It’s tailored to your needs and aimed at delivering lasting results.
Many individuals notice benefits after just one session, although hypnosis is most effective when experienced as a process.

My goal is to help you overcome your challenges quickly and effectively, giving you the tools you need for long-term independence.

What happens during my first session?

Your first session is the longest. Even though we’ve already spoken, we’ll spend extra time so I can understand you better and choose the best tools and techniques to help you.

In most sessions, I’ll teach you something useful so you can support your own progress and feel empowered, not dependent on me. If you’re serious about lasting change, you’ll practice between sessions to help make the change part of who you are.

Before we begin hypnosis, I’ll explain what to expect and answer any questions you have.

I’m committed to helping you succeed—and if you feel I’ve earned it, I’d love for you to share your experience to help others looking for support.
